The co-op or internship work permit is different than your study permit. You can apply for both at the same time.

The permit will usually be valid for the same length of time as your study permit.
Work in Canada after you graduate
After you graduate from Royal Roads, you may be able to work in Canada temporarily if you meet the requirements.
