Bio (Kim Gunning-Mooney)

Kim Gunning-Mooney has worked extensively within the health-care and government systems of British Columbia assisting senior leaders, teams and individuals. Her work focuses on helping teams to identify and achieve their goals. Specifically, she works with teams that seek to define their visions and then to create strategic plans for implementing actions that will achieve these visions. Her strength is teaching people to apply change management strategies, to attend to the humanistic side of change and to create a path for moving forward.
In addition to her teaching at Royal Roads, Gunning-Mooney does extensive consulting within the health-care system, government and not-for-profits. She has also held positions with Providence Health Care and Vancouver Coastal Health Authority.
Gunning-Mooney holds a Master of Arts in Leadership and Training from Royal Roads University. She has an undergraduate degree in mathematics from York University, Toronto,Ont.and has completed extensive post-graduate work in adult education.
