With Canada joining the US, UK and Australia in a diplomatic boycott of the Beijing 2022 Olympic Games , Prof. Ken Christie shares his thoughts about what this means and the reasoning behind the boycott on CFAX 1070 Afternoons with Ryan Price.

Here is some of what he had to say:

“China is well on its way to becoming a great superpower and the West is very frightened by this movement in China by its economic and its political power around the world, so I think in some ways the West is interested in some sort of strategy to contain China, to put down China and prevent them from ever emerging as a superpower or mitigating the effects of this superpower effect,” says Christie.
