I was nearing the top of my industry when I realized I did not want to do it for the rest of my life, so I made the decision to head back to school. The accelerated program was key in choosing Royal Roads, along with their mix of purely academic and practical, life-experienced professors. I am impressed RRU values both skill sets.
I now use the theories learned for practical usage at work, and am constantly surprised when I am able to identify classic theory in the communication between workers, regional and corporate management. It’s like they are following a guidebook which I have in front of me.
The best decision I made was doing a semester in Sweden. I am so grateful for the opportunity that RRU provided me in taking my studies to an international setting - and placing importance on the value of culture immersion. This experience cannot be measured, and the ability for me to network with international contacts and make international friends was only made possible through RRU.
