Rigor to Dissemination, Acts in Narrative Research and Storytelling

Academic/Filmmaker Dwayne Beaver, Academic/Researcher Jeffrey Orr and Picture Editor Franco Pante will discuss the process of turning research into narrative films. Beaver will discuss his process of adopting an ethos of critical inquiry and applying it with the navigational skills required to uphold academic rigor while crafting story structure. Attendees are encouraged to watch two short films in advance of the seminar to prepare for the session: The Duty to Document and Public Ethnography.
