Timothy Kituri is the Manager of the Master of Global Management Program at Royal Roads University. He has been a dedicated Royal Roads employee since 2006, beginning in Marketing and Recruitment and moving into his current position in 2011. These roles have provided him with a deep understanding of the University, its diverse student body, and the culture that contributes to its success. He is committed to vigorously representing all RRU employees in fulfilling the Board of Governors’ role of setting policy and strategy.
Administrative staff play a vital and unique role in program delivery, and Tim's insight will not only support effective decision-making but also build credibility within the University community. Through his role, he interacts with all departments, collaborating to provide services to students, faculty, and the broader community. His focus on student success highlights a defining element of Royal Roads’ culture, which also gives meaning and job satisfaction to staff. Understanding these collaborative networks and their value will inform his contributions on the Board.
With over eleven years in program management, Tim has a deep understanding of the evolving needs of students, drawing on his work with on-campus, international, blended, and fully online programs, as well as his experience as an alumnus of two blended programs.
He has strong expertise in fiduciary duties and board governance from his service on the Victoria and Esquimalt Police Board. His competencies include business management, marketing, communications, executive coaching, and sector-specific knowledge of post-secondary institutions, supported by his academic credentials in Marketing (Saint Mary’s University) and Communication and Executive Coaching (Royal Roads University).
