Sustainable Synergies in Community Housing Research
Dr. Das received Research for Professional Development funds to research sustainability synergies in building performance and the human dimensions of ‘living in buildings’.
Canada’s national health service is placing focus on the needs of low- and moderate- income households and those belonging to the community housing sector. The purpose of this application is to develop a fund for research projects leveraged by the activities of an already-established SSHRC Partnership Grant application and which will be available to students whose interests relate to sustainability in housing, with a specific focus on the energy needs of those residing in community housing and the buildings in which they live.
