Sue Brown is an experienced Career Educator and Facilitator with over 25 years of expertise supporting students in work-integrated learning in post-secondary and international education.
Sue joined Royal Roads University in 2019 as a Career Learning and Development Advisor where she excels at facilitating workshops and coaching students to successfully navigate career changes and transitions.
Her international background includes six years as a TESOL/TESL Certified English Teacher, Employment Coach and Teacher Trainer.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction in Sociology from the University of Victoria and certifications from the Cultural Intelligence Centre, LLC, CACEE and the BC Career Development Association.
She proved her commitment to diverse learning by completing the Bow Valley certificate in Supporting Culturally Diverse Learners in the Classroom.
Sue is dedicated to fostering student success and supporting students' career journeys. Her cultural expertise makes her an invaluable professional on the Career Learning and Development team where she cultivates a deep understanding of students and direction.
