Each year, the Trudeau Foundation awards up to fifteen scholarships to outstanding Canadian and foreign doctoral candidates pursuing research related to one of its four founding themes.
Eligibility
Trudeau scholars are outstanding students who are interested in growing in a multidisciplinary learning environment and in addressing important questions for Canada and the world. They are Canadian citizens or permanent residents pursuing their first doctoral degree and are enrolled full-time in the first or second year of a doctoral program in Canada, or Canadian citizens enrolled full-time in a doctoral program outside Canada.
How to apply
Royal Roads University is able to nominate four applications to the National competition. Each year, the Foundation awards up to fifteen scholarships to Canadian and foreign doctoral candidates pursuing research related to one of its four founding themes.
A complete application comprises:
- electronic application form
- two references on specific forms
- official transcripts of all post-secondary studies, including RRU's transcript. Transcripts must be supplied by the applicant (i.e. RRU cannot release the copies we have on file at the Registrar's Office).
