Tatiana is a dynamic force in the world of communications, known for her strategic mindset, innovative ideas, and her ability to build strong relationships. With more than 25 years of experience in public relations, communications and marketing, she began her career in the non-profit sector before moving into the regulatory world. 

Tatiana believes in the power of ethical communication to drive positive change. Throughout her career, has used her expertise to empower individuals and strengthen communities. Her most recent project is a three-year marketing campaign to educate British Columbians about their debt collection and lending rights. 

Her passion for giving back is evident in her volunteer work with the Canadian Public Relations Society and her dedication to supporting emerging professionals in the field.

Experience

Currently serving as the Director of Communications at Consumer Protection BC, Tatiana leads impactful marketing campaigns that educate and empower consumers across the province. In this role, she is responsible for all marketing, strategic communications and public relations. She has been instrumental in enhancing the organization's visibility and credibility within the community.

A leader on social in the Canadian regulatory world, she developed the organization’s social media identity as a trusted, responsive and empathic organization with a robust and engaged online community. Consumer Protection BC has been nominated for and won awards for its work on social media and Tatiana has given workshops and spoken at conferences on the topic. 

An active volunteer member of the Canadian Public Relations Society, she was president of the Vancouver Island Chapter for three years and the Chair of the CPRS National Conference Program Committee in 2023.

The well-travelled daughter of a Canadian diplomat, Tatiana now lives in Victoria, BC.
