Susan Rochefort’s research interests are in operational efficiency and change management, particularly through a lean management approach, within the service sector. Additionally, Rochefort assisted Dr. Frances Jorgenson with her research on incivility experienced by front-line service employees. She continues to explore her research interests through the completion of a DBA at Royal Roads University (2026). Currently, Rochefort is a Teaching Assistant in the MBA program at Royal Roads University for Organizational Behaviour and Change Management and an associate faculty member in the business program for Human Resource Management Innovation and Sustainability.

Susan has over 25 years of change management experience in various roles such as analyst, auditor, controller, project manager, financial consultant, lecturer and entrepreneur. Her experience as an internal and external change consultant spans various industries including oil and gas, professional services, and manufacturing.
