Dr. Nygaard-Petersen is a senior leader with over two decades of expertise spanning marketing strategy and innovation. She launched one of North America’s fastest-growing shared mobility brands and was a key stakeholder in the first Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) pilot in BC.

Dr. Nygaard-Petersen brings this expertise to teaching in the Master of Business Administration program, where she has specialized in delivering strategic marketing courses.

Experience

Dr. Nygaard-Petersen has been a brand and marketing strategist in both the private and not-for-profit sectors. As a marketing expert, she has garnered experience with and partnerships with major brands worldwide and was part of the team that received the BCAMA Marketer of the Year award in 2016.

She has recently shifted her career into the corporate purpose and community impact space, where she oversaw the development and delivery of community impact programs.

She also introduced GHG emission reduction strategies and reporting for one of BC’s most purpose-led brands.
