
Jennifer Mateer’s research focuses on housing policies in British Columbia, as well environmental policies in Canada and India, particularly the lack of a national water strategy in Canada and the National Green Tribunal in India, a legislative body addressing environmental concerns.
Experience
Mateer has worked in public policy for Health Canada and Industry Canada. She was part of the litigation department for Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada and worked in Rwanda at the Kigali Health Institute as part of a Canadian International Development Agency (now Global Affairs Canada) project.
