Carlos A. Salinas is on a mission to help individuals become better leaders by redefining and redirecting skills they already have. 

Salinas has an interest in understanding how the way we approach conflict defines the quality of our experiences, and the experiences of others about us.

His advocacy and strategic planning experience helps him connect the dots and see the big picture. While his creativity serves his students by explaining complex concepts in a simple way, often using metaphors and analogies.

Experience

Salinas began his career working for the Mexican government advocating for the rights of immigrants and refugees. He also advised a successful presidential campaign on foreign affairs and security policy. As a private consultant, Salinas worked for several North American organizations helping them advance their government affairs, business development, and media relations agendas. 

As a coach, he has specialized in leadership development and conflict coaching. Salinas currently works as an in-house conflict coach for the BC Public Service, and has a private coaching practice.
