Beginning in January 2021, some of Royal Roads University’s 10 face-to-face programs will return to on-campus instruction for approximately 200 students.

While most learning, including residencies, will continue to be offered online through the winter and spring, the university is taking steps to ensure the best possible experience for students, staff, faculty and the community by continuing to support student success, says Royal Roads University President Philip Steenkamp.

“Safety of students, staff, faculty and our community continue to be our priority. We have taken all the necessary steps to adapt safely to our new reality and we're delighted to welcome some students back to our extraordinary campus,” Steenkamp says.

The university will continue to monitor the status of the pandemic and adhere to public health guidelines throughout the process.

Technology will continue to support a hybrid model of in-class and online program delivery to ensure safety of students, while providing them with an on-campus learning experience.

Students can contact their program offices for more information about their specific courses. In a few exceptional cases, programs may be adjusted or deferred. In those cases, the program office will contact students directly.
