 Here's what Royal Roads experts were interviewed about this week: 

  • David Black, associate professor in the School of Communication and Culture, spoke on CFAX 1070 about Mark Carney’s swearing in and what it means for Canada.  

  • The Business Examiner shared the Pacific Economic Development Agency of Canada new funding for RRU to support municipal and First Nations economic development partnerships in the Westshore. 

  • RRU and Mount Royal University signed a Memorandum of Understanding to solidify their future academic relationship, which appeared in Academica and Education News Canada.  

  • An announcement of new Future Skills Centre funding to support RRU’s Professional and Continuing Studies’ Building Foundations for an Inclusive Northern Economy: Advancing Innovations within the Northern and Indigenous Skills Ecosystem program was also mentioned in Academica.  

  • This week’s expert panel on “resisting the bro-ligarchy" was covered in an Island Social Trends article.
