RRU in the Media
Here's where Royal Roads made headlines this week:
- Professor of Communication and Culture Philip Vannini was interviewed by CBC’s The Early Edition on his research about communities that depend on BC Ferries.
- Assoc. Prof. David Black, in the School of Communication and Culture, was interviewed by the Vancouver Sun about the campaign to recall Vancouver-Quilchena MLA Dallas Brodie.
- Cascade Institute Polycrisis Fellow Christopher Collins wrote an opinion piece for The Globe and Mail about the issue of globally interconnected financial markets and the increased economic risks in a time of polycrisis (account required).
- Royal Roads’ Asian Heritage Month videos, of international students sharing their favourite foods from home, were mentioned in an Academica round-up.
- An RRU research partnership with Wilfrid Laurier University and other partner institutions was featured in Education News Canada, as the group received a $100,000 Dimensions Canada grant from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada to build equity, diversity and inclusion accountability frameworks for researchers.
