Here's where Royal Roads made headlines this week: 

• A partnership agreement with Canadian Armed Forces for Royal Roads University to offer military officer education pathway this fall was covered by Times Colonist, CHEK News, Black Press, Vanguard, The Whig-Standard, Education News Canada, Academica, and Island Social Trends. 
• Cascade Institute Ultradeep Geothermal Research Fellow Rebecca Pearce wrote an opinion piece for The Tyee on harnessing Canada’s pre-existing expertise in geothermal energy for a clean, renewable heat and power source.

• Professor of Interdisciplinary Studies Jaigris Hodson was quoted in a Black Press article about new proposed regulations for social media companies to protect children from exploitation and drug trafficking attempts.

• Cascade Institute Polycrisis Fellow Christopher Collins wrote an opinion piece for the Globe and Mail about the risks associated with the Canada Strong Fund (Account required).
