Please join us for a Virtual Convocation ceremony:

Formal Ceremony at 2:00 p.m. livestreamed
Watch Parties by your faculty and Virtual Graduate Processions to follow

Convocation ceremonies are the highlight of the academic year for both students and staff at Royal Roads University. We know how hard you’ve worked and nothing—not even this pandemic—will stop us from celebrating you.

Due to current travel and social gathering restrictions, we’ve scheduled a Virtual Convocation ceremony on Friday, June 18. This formal celebration will include a chance for you to be recognized as you walk across the stage (virtually of course), a graduate speaker, and a special presentation with this year’s Honorary Degree Recipients.

Graduates, stay well and stay tuned. We hope to celebrate you in person at a later time, once it is safe to do so.

  • There will be an opportunity to submit your name, a photo with virtual cap and gown, and written and/or video message to share during your virtual graduate procession. You will receive your custom link to share on social media channels for your friends and family! This is provided through our partnership with StageClip. An individualized student link will be provided for you to upload your content but will require your consent. Please ensure you complete the registration form and check YES to allow StageClip to contact you.
  • Register for your virtual “Watch Party” Zoom room, where you can watch your convocation with fellow graduates, faculty, family and biggest champions.
  • The link to participate in virtual convocation will provided once available

Are you a new grad? Join our alumni network, Royal Roads Connect to stay connected, share experiences and opportunities, learn about jobs and events and grow your network.  Please contact Alumni Relations with any questions.

Virtual Watch Party

Registration is coming to your inbox so be sure to reserve your seat and get a link to share with your loved ones.
