Neil Davies

Summary

Neil is responsible for providing technical support for the daily operations of presentation technologies in all learning spaces on campus including classrooms, event rooms, meeting rooms, special purpose rooms and breakout rooms. He supports and trains staff and students on the use of audio-visual equipment and presentation technology systems. Neil coordinates and trains staff in the use of web conferencing software (Zoom). 

Experience

Neil brings 15 years of professional experience in live event technology to Royal Roads and has applied his skills in every facet of audio-visual events and productions, plying his trade from one corner of Canada to the other and abroad. 

A hands-on learner, Neil prides himself on staying ahead of technology’s rapid and perpetual evolution. With a diverse expertise and a knack for problem solving and support, he is enthusiastic about sharing his knowledge with students, faculty, and staff alike.
