New students (Entrance)
The KPMG Entrance Award recognizes equity-deserving students who best articulate how they are embodying KPMG's commitment to environmental, social and governance leadership through their academic achievement and/or volunteerism in the community. The KPMG Entrance Award is intended to support skills development and growth both within the student and the professional field.
Eligibility
- entering a School of Leadership or Management program
- identifying as part of an equity-deserving group, including but not limited to Indigenous Peoples, persons with permanent disabilities, people of colour, and other intersecting equity-deserving identities
- have demonstrated either
- academic achievement, Examples of academic achievement include academic excellence in previous related studies awards and honours; leadership and advancement in relevant field of study, or
- selfless dedication to volunteerism and community involvement
- preference may be given to applicants who demonstrate reasonable financial need and/or to those who have overcome exceptional personal challenges (e.g. former child in care, children of fallen service members, etc.).
How to apply
- this Entrance Award is open to students who are (or will be) active in their program after the deadline date
- pending the availability of funding, the competition will run annually from March 1 to May 1 (closes 11:59pm RRU time)
- applications are submitted online through MyAdmin. A full list of awards in competition will be viewable upon login
- address eligibility criteria for all awards in that competition in one one-page essay with your name in top margin
