Knowledge networks of SMEs in accelerated internationalization

Dr. Du received Research and Professional Development funds for a project examining the internationalization of SMEs, specifically foreign knowledge acquisition and the use of social network settings.

This proposed book project explores the internationalization of small and medium sized enterprises, emphasizing foreign knowledge acquisition and the use of social network settings. Based on the insights developed from previous research and survey data, I will gather in-depth narratives from internet SMEs in order to complete the second manuscript.

This proposed book project discusses a theoretical framework of internationalization and knowledge networks of SMEs, and sheds some light on current understanding of internationalization of SMEs. It also has several practical implications which directly respond to the trends of SMEs internationalization in developing countries.
