The Ken Stratford Memorial Award was established by Royal Roads University as the result of a gift by the family and friends of Ken Stratford to support entrepreneurial studies. This gift was made in recognition of Ken's commitment to entrepreneurial advancement and innovation in his community. The Award will support students with their learning in the Bachelor of Commerce in Entrepreneurial Management program, serving to recognize the time and energy Ken contributed over his career in mentoring people to find their passions, thrive in entrepreneurial ventures, and live a life of innovation.
The successful candidate will have a plan to launch a venture that will benefit their local community and/or the Royal Roads community.
Eligibility
- enrolled in the BCom in Entrepreneurial Management program
- Canadian citizen or permanent resident
- plans to launch an innovative venture that will benefit their local community
How to apply
- this In-Course Award is open to students who are (or will be) active in their program on the deadline date
- pending the availability of funding, the competition will run annually from March 1st to May 1st (closes 11:59pm RRU time)
- applications are submitted online through MyAdmin. A full list of awards in competition will be viewable upon login
- address eligibility criteria for all awards in that competition one one-page essay with your name in top margin
