International Leadership Association (ILA) Conference 2018: Authentic Leadership for progress, peace & prosperity Transformative Learning (TL) Conference 2018: Building Transformative Community

Dr. Bishop was granted Research and Professional Development funds to attend and present at leadership conferences to showcase Royal Roads University as a vibrant model of leadership excellence.

The 20th Annual Global Conference of the International Leadership Association was held in Palm Beach, Florida, October 24 -27, 2018. Kathy Bishop, along with School of Leadership Studies colleagues (Catherine Etmanski, Cheryl Heykoop, Wendy Rowe) and other scholar/practitioners both in Canada and the States (Jody Fry, Gloria, Burgess, John Burgess, Alan Bishop), addressed the conference theme of Authentic Leadership for progress, peace & prosperity through experiential workshops and a roundtable presentation showcasing RRU as a vibrant model of leadership excellence. Afterwards, Kathy, Catherine and Cheryl presented at the Transformative Learning Conference in New York, November 7-10, on Building Transformative Community.
