These bursaries supports Indigenous students/scholars at Royal Roads for a variety of activities like (but not limited to):
- Research or learning.
- To enable connections with Elders and home community members.
- To help with unexpected emergencies.

It is anticipated that grants will typically range from $1,000 to $5,000, however, in some circumstances this amount may be higher. Amounts over $5,000 must be tied to strategic priorities of the university.

Eligibility

  • Indigenous students (First Nations, Métis, Inuit, Non Status), actively studying in an academic program at RRU
  • demonstrated financial need

  2. Submit the application according to the instructions on the form.
  3. Applications will be accepted and assessed on an as-needed basis; a process that may take up to three weeks.
