ICA will award three scholarships: $1,000 for high school graduate student, $2,500 for undergraduate and graduate students respectively. For students attending colleges and universities in the Capital Region.
Eligibility
The eligibility is as follows:
- High school graduate: accepted into a diploma or degree program at colleges and universities
- Undergraduate: currently registered in a degree program
- Graduate: currently registered or accepted into a post-graduate program
How to apply
Applicants must submit the following documents:
- Application letter (not exceeding 1,000 words) describing:
− how the applicant’s academic program of study will prepare the applicant for a career dedicated to promoting cultural awareness, understanding, and advocating for the human rights of people of all cultures
− the applicant’s familiarity with ICA and its mission - Resume
- Final confirmation of acceptance or registration in a college or university degree program (If a preliminary confirmation is submitted first to meet the deadline, the final document will be requested before receiving the award.)
- Record of most recent academic achievement (such as transcripts)
- Record of volunteer or professional involvement in multicultural affairs or diversity education, training, or community activities (when available)
- Two letters of reference
