Heather McDonald specializes in both Career Development and Human Resources. She brings expertise in recruitment, learning and development, coaching, facilitation and event planning to her role as a Career Learning and Development Advisor at Royal Roads University.
With over 10 years of experience working in the post-secondary sector, Heather has supported students in work-integrated learning programs such as cooperative education, internship, and field practice in diploma, bachelor and master's level programs.
Heather holds an Advanced Diploma in Human Resources from Camosun College and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Victoria. Heather is also pursuing a Master of Arts in Adult Education from Athabasca University.
Heather values lifelong learning and is dedicated to equity, diversity and inclusion. These perspectives guide her coaching as she supports Royal Roads University students in pursuing their professional potential.
