Global University Network for innovation: Showcasing Engaged Leadership Project (ELP) Research
Dr. Etmanski used Internal Grant for Research funds to attend a conference in Barcelona, Spain to present on Royal Roads University’s our Learning Teaching and Research Model.
The 9th annual Global University Network on Innovation (GUNi) conference on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Higher Education was held in Barcelona, Spain on March 5 & 6, 2020. Core faculty members, Catherine Etmanski and Kathy Bishop, together with Associate Faculty member, Beth Page, co-presented a panel on the topic of: “Engaging students in participatory and action-oriented research for sustainability.” This panel showcased innovative elements of our Learning Teaching and Research Model (LTRM) and demonstrated how RRU is a thriving hub of leadership excellence and the option of choice for working adult learners.
