Climate Week

Online

Join Dr. Rob Newell, RRU's Canada Research Chair in Climate Change, Biodiversity & Sustainability for a webinar discussing the strengths, limitations, and potential of visualizations as tools for supporting integrated approaches to local climate action and sustainability planning.

Rob will share and demonstrate a few of the visualization tools that he's created through his research, and will offer the audience a chance to try them out on their own. He will also share the outcomes of the research, discussing the potential of these tools, their shortcomings, and lessons learned for practitioners in this area (e.g., planners, visualization developers, community mobilizers, etc.).

The webinar will include approximately 35 to 40 minutes of presentation and demonstrations, followed by 25 to 20 minutes for questions and discussion.
