Let’s kick off Earth Month with an educational forest walk! The Healthy Planet Program is excited for another walk with RRU Gardener, Emma Lansdowne. During this lunch hour session, we will learn about the mosses, lichens, budding plants and perhaps even some wildflowers that are emerging in the Colwood campus forests.

Join us on Wednesday, April 8th from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. Please dress for the weather and wear shoes you can walk on trails with. We will head out rain or shine (but may get in touch to postpone if there's severe wind or terrible weather). This trail is not wheelchair accessible and may be hard to reach for those with limited mobility.

Please register for the location and more details about the session.

The Healthy Planet Program is an initiative co-led by the Climate Action and Sustainability Team and People and Culture's Healthy U team to offer campus stewardship opportunities to staff, students, faculty and community members. We gratefully acknowledge WWF-Canada's Go Wild grant for support of RRU's Healthy Planet Program.
