As a post-secondary student, taking care of your health and wellness doesn’t always make it to the top of the priority list. We understand that studying while balancing a plethora of other responsibilities (and getting through a global pandemic!) is no easy feat.
To provide support to our students and acknowledge World Mental Health Day 2021, our Counselling and Learning Strategy team will host a virtual fall workshop series to build community and explore strategies for developing personal, professional, and academic resilience.
Self-Care in a Heavily Digital World
This session will offer:
- A discussion of the impacts of screen time on our mental and physical health
- Tips on how to take care of ourselves while meeting our work/school expectations
- Approaches for self-compassion and self-care during a stressful time
