Join us in observing the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women.

December 6th marks the anniversary of the day that 14 women at l'École Polytechnique de Montréal were killed. In Canada and around the world, women, girls, 2SLGBTQ+ (Two-Spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer) and gender-diverse individuals face violence and discrimination every day.  The National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women is about remembering all those who have experienced gender-based violence and those who we have lost to it.  It is also about affirming our commitment and actions to end gender-based violence.

Event Details:

  • Time: Starting at noon
  • Location: Grant Quarterdeck and online

Together, let us stand in solidarity and work towards a future free of violence and discrimination.
