In today’s shifting political landscape, leaders must ask themselves: Where should we focus our energy? What kind of world do we want to build? How can our values, words, and actions shape a meaningful legacy for future generations?
On February 25th, Kwakwa̱ka̱ʼwakw artists Krystal Cook and Carey Newman will share how their artistry challenges colonial narratives and offers new perspectives on leadership. The Kwakwa̱ka̱ʼwakw are an Indigenous people of the Pacific Northwest Coast, known for their rich artistic traditions, including carving, weaving, and performance. Through their work, Cook and Newman not only preserve and evolve these traditions but also inspire new ways of thinking about leadership, resilience, and cultural transformation in uncertain times.
