Join the Healthy Planet Program's drop in Scotch Broom bash on April 29th as we close out Earth Month and kick off Invasive Species Removal Month in May. This drop-in session runs from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm so stop by any time and stay for as long as you're able to.

These sessions are a fun way to learn more about removing invasive species while getting a chance to practice doing so. Connect with others and spend time outdoors making a positive impact on campus biodiversity and climate resilience. No prior experience is necessary and all equipment will be provided.

Register for the location and more details.

Unfortunately, the trail is not wheelchair accessible and we'll be be working on uneven terrain in an area that may be hard to reach for those with limited mobility. Please reach out if you have any questions about the accessibility of the session or would like to discuss an alternate way to help remove invasive species.

The Healthy Planet Program is an initiative co-led by the Climate Action and Sustainability Team and People and Culture's Healthy U team to offer campus stewardship opportunities to staff, students, faculty and community members. We gratefully acknowledge WWF-Canada's Go Wild grant for support of RRU's Healthy Planet Program.
