Register and join us to celebrate the tradition of Día de Muertos at Royal Roads University as we come together to honor life, memory, and culture. All students are invited to participate in this special event, where we’ll reflect on and celebrate loved ones who are no longer with us!

What to Expect:
- Altar Display (Ofrenda): Discover a beautifully arranged altar featuring traditional elements like marigolds, candles, and cherished items, honoring those who have passed. Students are welcome to print out photos of their ancestors and place them on the display.
- Face Decoration: Transform into the iconic Catrina figure, a symbol of remembrance and the connection between life and death.
- Creative Activities: Get involved by decorating vibrant paper skulls or contributing a photo or memento of a loved one to the altar.
- Live Music: Enjoy traditional music that captures the spirit of Día de Muertos, filling the space with a sense of culture and celebration.
- Mexican Light and Refreshments: Savor a taste of Mexican culture with light refreshments available throughout the event.
Our Día de Muertos event is a celebration of memory, culture, and community. We invite all students to join us in honoring the lives of those we've lost while embracing the beauty of tradition and togetherness.
