As a post-secondary student, taking care of your health and wellness doesn’t always make it to the top of the priority list. We understand that studying while balancing a plethora of other responsibilities (and getting through a global pandemic!) is no easy feat.

To provide support to our students and acknowledge World Mental Health Day 2021, our Counselling and Learning Strategy team will host a virtual fall workshop series to build community and explore strategies for developing personal, professional, and academic resilience.

Building Resilience and Managing Stress

This session will offer:

  • An introduction to RRU Counselling Service’s foundation for resilience
  • A discussion on Covid-19’s impact on our mental health
  • Strategies for managing stress in healthy ways
  • Mental health preparation for the winter season
