Elizabeth Cordeau-Chatelain is an executive leadership coach and consultant with a mission to develop thriving workplaces through sustainable leadership practices. Her expertise ranges from advising CEOs and senior executives on leadership presence and internal and external audience engagement, to steering global branding, professional development and employee experience projects at Total S.A., the world’s fourth-ranked energy company. Cordeau-Chatelain’s work has taken her across North America as well as Europe, Africa, South America, Southeast Asia and the Gulf region. She is an experienced corporate leader, trainer and facilitator, fluent in English and French. An Associate Certified Coach, Cordeau-Chatelain is also a certified Canadian Mental Health Association Psychological Health and Safety Advisor, Total SDI Consultant and Barrett Values Consultant. Her research draws from this Human resources/communications experience to examine the linkages between values-driven leadership, communications, culture and full-systems approaches to fostering workplace psychological health and safety. Cordeau-Chatelain holds a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies (2020), a Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching (2019) and a Graduate Certificate in Values-Based Leadership (2018) from Royal Roads University. She graduated from McGill University in 1986 with a Bachelor of Arts in English.
