Introduction to Indigenous Environmental Leadership

This course will contribute to an understanding of what Indigenous environmental leadership means in Indigenous nations and communities. It also provides an overview of Indigenous and Canadian legal environmental frameworks and the ways in which Indigenous, local, and scientific knowledge systems can be applied to environmental problems in Indigenous communities, and the role of an Indigenous environmental leader.
