Challenges for Indigenous Environmental Leaders

This course introduces and investigates environmental issues faced by Indigenous communities such as water, air, land and ecosystem degradation, food insecurity, solid waste, infrastructure, climate change, biodiversity loss, coastal dynamics, energy systems and more. It also explores the essential connections among environment, economy, livelihoods, governance, self-determination, and social development in Indigenous nations.
