Dr. Jaigris Hodson is co-applicant on a project lead by Heidi Tworek (UBC) and funded by the Canada Biomedical Research Fund. Hodson is developing a chatbot to help depolarize vaccine conversations.

Dr. Jaigris Hodson is co-applicant on a project lead by Heidi Tworek (UBC) and funded by the Canada Biomedical Research Fund. For her contribution to this project, Hodson is working to develop an AI based chatbot that can help clinicians have better conversations with vaccine hesitant patients. Using the AIMs framework, the chatbot will role play a patient, so that medical students, pharmacists and GPs can practice building trust in the face of polarizing vaccine misinformation.
