Dr. Bishop received Research and Professional Development funds to present at conference on Critical Indigenous leadership, activism and allyship and on RRU as model of leadership.
Bishop presents at four conferences: Adult Education in Global Times (AEGT), Canadian Association for Study of Adult Education (CASAE), Academy of Management (AOM), International Leadership Association (ILA). At ILA, Bishop, along with Master of Arts Leadership Indigenous alumni, Christine Webster, presents on Royal Roads University (RRU) funded research done in 2019 - Traversing Culture and Academy: Stories of research, allyship, and journeying forward and, with Danielle Mitchell on Critical Indigenous leadership, activism and allyship, based on their upcoming peer reviewed chapter about tales from the field. Furthermore, Bishop with School of Leadership Studies’ colleagues presents on action-oriented research and values-based leadership; showcasing RRU as a model of leadership excellence in its leadership, learning, teaching and research.
