Effective dates
Objective of the agreement
RRU agrees to facilitate the block transfer of students from Coast Mountain College with appropriate prerequisite qualifications into the RRU programs within the School of Environment and Sustainability noted below. By this agreement, applicants from Coast Mountain College who meet the requirements outlined below will be eligible for admission to RRU with full block transfer, provided all other entrance criteria are met (per the program admission requirements on the RRU website) and space remains available in the RRU program. Entrance to all programs at RRU is on a competitive basis.
Coast Mountain College Eligible Transfer Program: Applied Coastal Ecology
- Approved for block transfer. Students must take 2 of the following as part of their elective options: MATH 101, MATH 115, and MATH 13. Students must include CHEM 111 and CHEM 122 as part of their study
- Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science

Coast Mountain College Eligible Transfer Program: Associate of Arts Degree – Sustainable Communities Specialization
- Not eligible for transfer

Coast Mountain College Eligible Transfer Program: Associate of Science Degree – Environmental Geoscience Specialization
- Approved for block transfer. Students must include CHEM 111 and CHEM 121 as part of their study

Coast Mountain College Eligible for Transfer Program: Associate of Science Degree
- Approved for block transfer. Must include 6 credits in Biology (BIOL 101/102 preferred), 6 credits in Chemistry, 6 credits in Math (at least 3 credits in calculus, linear algebra or Physics)
