The Chia-Fu Scholarship was established by Chia-Fu Tsai in September 2025 to provide financial support to students from Taiwan enrolled in any RRU course or program offered at one of RRU's campuses in Canada.

The award is valued up to $3,500 at the discretion of RRU's Awards Adjudication Panel.

Eligibility

  • International student from Taiwan.
  • Enrolled in any RRU course or program offered at one of RRU's campuses in Canada.
  • Demonstrated academic excellence at RRU or other educational institutions.
  • Have reasonable financial need (the maximum award value must be able to remove the financial barrier to study).

How to apply

  • This In-Course Award is open to students who are (or will be) active in their program on the deadline date.
  • Pending the availability of funding, the competition will run annually from September 1 to November 1 (closes 11:59pm Pacific Time).
  • Applications are submitted online through MyAdmin. A full list of awards in competition will be viewable upon login.
  • Address eligibility criteria for all awards in that competition in one one-page essay with your name in top margin.
