Andrea Fallan Memorial Bursary

The Andrea Fallan Memorial Bursary was established by family members and friends of the late Andrea Fallan, a Bachelor of Commerce student at RRU. During her studies, her positive attitude impacted the lives of many students, staff members and instructors. Her tragic passing took her away too soon and has affected a wide community of family, friends, colleagues, RRU staff, and students. Through this memorial bursary, Andrea's kind spirit and contagious energy will be recognized and remembered.

The bursary will be given annually to one student who has completed a minimum of 30 credits in the Bachelor of Commerce program and who is involved in the community, demonstrates leadership qualities, and motivates others to improve.

Eligibility

• demonstrated financial need
• completed minimum of 30 credits in RRU BCom program
• self-starter who demonstrates leadership qualities, motivates others to improve and promotes a cohesive team environment
• preference given to a student who has demonstrated perseverance through difficult personal circumstances and a high degree of resolve in pursuing a BCom degree

How to apply

• this In-Course Award is open to students who are (or will be) active in their program on the deadline date
• pending the availability of funding, the competition will run annually from March 1st to May 1st (closes 11:59pm RRU time)
• applications are submitted online through MyAdmin. A full list of awards in competition will be viewable upon login
