Office of the President

Dr. Philip Steenkamp

Hello! Hay'sxw'qa si'em!

I am deeply honoured to be part of this dynamic community of lifelong learners. Royal Roads University's innovative model of post-secondary education is truly at the leading edge of 21st-century learning.

We marked our 25th anniversary in 2020, and launched our second quarter century with a new vision dedicated to “inspiring people with the courage to transform the world.”

I want to hear about what Royal Roads means to you whether you live on the West Shore, in the Capital Region, or in communities across Canada and the globe. As we embark on the university’s next phase together, I invite you to reach out to me at any time on any issue. I look forward to connecting with you in the future.

— Dr. Philip Steenkamp, president and vice-chancellor
