It also equips students with the skills to address workplace challenges encountered by professionals across the tourism and hospitality industries.
Speak with our Faculty
Learn more about our programs from one-on-one sessions with our faculty. Each month our Program Lead Geoff Bird will host a live teleconference to engage in conversation and to answer your questions. We’d like to show you how Royal Roads University can transform your life. Click here to learn how you can attend a session or email Melody Andersson, firstname.lastname@example.org, to register. Our next teleconference is May 16, 2013, don’t miss out.
The MA in Tourism Management is offered in two formats: an 12-month on-campus model (with an optional internship of up to 6 months) and a 27-month blended learning model. Both models share a similar curriculum and course selection.
The on-campus stream is an intensive 12-month program structured as a full-time, on-campus experience. The final component of the program offers two options, the first is a graduate research paper and the second is a consulting project followed by a 6-month internship.
Our blended learning model allows you to have the flexibility to complete your degree while you work. Over 27 months, this stream uses a number of different delivery methods including textbooks, reading packages, case studies, and interactive internet-based learning. Throughout the program, students attend three separate on-campus residencies that let you work face-to-face with your teammates and instructors.
