Join Program Lead Dr. Eugene Thomlinson and Andrea Boyes for a webinar on Tuesday May 21, 2013 to learn more about the BA in Global Tourism Management.

The Bachelor of Arts in Global Tourism Management (BAGTM) program is a two year, 60-credit, on-campus program, designed to go far beyond a regional focus. Students who don't meet the language requirements for the program can complete years one and two of the Tourism degree program through our International Study Centre. It deals with global tourism opportunities, trends, and issues with a specific emphasis on the competencies that industry professionals need to be successful in different countries and cultures.

Students will focus on case studies and examples from around the world, enabling students to compare and contrast approaches to sustainable tourism development.  The program will address ethical issues, workplace and environmental challenges encountered by managers in different countries. The international focus is enhanced by the national and international heritages the program will attract.
