Royal Roads University offers modest on campus accommodations to support students taking short-term residencies, but does not offer full-time housing for students in full-time on-campus programs.
We offer a variety of ensuite rooms with private washroom facilities and dorm rooms with shared washroom facilities. Our accommodations are located in the Millward and Nixon buildings.
Guest Services & Reception Desk
The Guest Services & Reception Desk is located in the main level of the Learning and Innovation Centre (LIC) Building. Upon arrival to campus, please check-in to register for your accommodations, provide payment, and obtain room keys.
Short term check-in parking is available in the pull-in on the right hand side as you approach the Learning and Innovation Centre. Following check-in, proceed to Campus Security at the Millward Building to unload luggage, then relocate your vehicle to the P3 overnight lot. Those arriving via taxi may wish to drop luggage at Campus Security, then walk to the LIC to check-in. Students can check-in at the Guest Services Desk until 8:30pm. Arrivals after hours, will need to proceed to Campus Security to get room access, then check-in at the Guests Services Desk the following morning. Please note payment for accommodations will be requested upon check-in.
Campus Security offers a luggage storage area for those students checking out on last day of classes.
Students will receive their ‘program code’ from their program area to access the online booking system approximately two months prior to residency start date. If you have not received your program code, please contact your program area directly. Room blocks have been created to allow students to arrive one night before residency start date and departure the day following residency end date. Should you wish to request an extended stay, please contact the Guest Services Desk with your confirmation number.
